Strawberry Bread

June 25, 2010 By Naomi Robinson | Bakers Royale 13 Comments

Strawberry Bread ~ Breakfast just got better with some sweet buttermilk and fresh organic strawberries.

Strawberry Bread

Strawberry Bread

Creative in concept, simple in execution-I wish I had thought of this Strawberry Bread recipe myself.  I am admittedly besotted with it. I made this for the first time the other week and two days later made it once more and have been enjoying it with my morning coffee  for the last few days.

I love the taste of buttermilk and in this recipe it leaves behind a subtle hint of its presence in the flavor while helping to bind the texture into a tight moist crumb. Releasing bits of juicy sweetness, the strawberries take on a gusher like quality with every bite to tie everything together.

A few notes:

  • Hit the jump and go over to My Baking Addiction for the recipe.
  • Buy organic if you can. Not only are organic fruits and vegetables healthier for you, but they are three times as sweet and flavorful.
  • If you would like a more strawberry covered top, gently place extra chopped pieces on the top of the batter. The thickness of the batter will prevent the strawberries from sinking through.
  • The strawberry bread can be kept on the counter up for up to three days in an airtight container.

I had strawberry bread in mind too, but we ate up all our strawberries too quickly. Yours looks beautiful.

I am looking forward to making this Strawberry Bread! It looks delicious! And, this time when I goto the Farmers Market I will have something more creative than eating to do with my strawberries.

And on this post Strawberry Bread | Bakers Royale. I was
moved enough to leave a thought 😛 I actually do have 2 questions for you if you usually do not mind.

Could it be only me or do a few of these remarks look like they are coming from brain dead visitors?
😛 And, if you are posting on other online sites, I would like
to keep up with you. Would you list the complete urls of all
your shared sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

Following I noticed the motion picture, I had
to look at the dish and above the decades I have hopefully enhanced on
the unique recipe I identified. And according to my short research, celery stalk contains PHTHALIDE
which can lower blood pressure, and also it lessens the
production of catecholamine (exists if physically and emotionally stressed) which causes the imbalance flow of blood by restricting
or blocking the blood vessels. Using only flour, the crust frequently falls off in the oil, doesn’t stick that well to the chicken and is soggy.

I’ve just purchased what many have been referring to as the best bread maker – Panasonic SD-YD250. Yours looks like the first recipe that I’m going to try on.
