Self-restraint has stood me up, as evident by my all-you-can-eat style—of—well, eating. Given that, my little guy and I have come to terms this phase in my life with a fitting super hero name: Clean-up. Gotta love it.
And true to my new powers. I nearly ate all of these mixed berry scones with jasmine tea in one day. Sure, the elastic waist band on my skirt is stretched thin in protest, but I have three weeks to go before this will all come to an end.
Wah.
On that note, let’s move to happier things, like how you will love this recipe. The jasmine tea makes it, so while you can skip that portion in the recipe—don’t.

Mixed berries and jasmine tea together in a scone – such a great idea. I love the complexity of jasmine tea – I imagine it balances the sweetness of the berries quite well!
