Have your Memorial Day dessert on a stick. That’s fruit, booze and dessert all in a popsicle and in one bite, er lick! Although, I realized after I began writing this post that I forgot to add in some strawberries or raspberries for a red, white and blue action—dang. But you don’t have to, so either chop up some strawberries/raspberries or puree either one and swirl it in for a festive look.
This week I deviated from my hard-liquored fruit pops for a dessert pop shot up with some Robert Mondavi Wines Private Selection. The pure fruit notes of the cabernet sauvignon made it a perfect blending partner for a blueberry dessert profiling. You will love this, so hit the jump to Endless Simmer to grab the Blueberry Cabernet Cheesecake Popsicle recipe
YES please! This looks fabulous!
Dreamy! And in an instant you brought back childhood memories of double stick popsicles. I’d forgotten all about those!
That looks great and I still adore that background ;).
Oh I love it when I can eat my drinks. 🙂
And when there’s booze and cheesecake paired!
GENIUS!
You know you torture me with your boozy popsicles. Love everything about these babies!
Blueberries and Cabernet together in a Popsicle? This is perfect for summer!
Oh my – that is fabulous!
Why do you use such ridiculous words to describe food?
“Pure fruit notes?” Is this a musical instrument? You mean “The taste of, a hint of, the subtle linger of ___ on the tongue?”
“Blueberry desert profiling?” Literally “Things that taste like blueberry desert?” I think you meant profile, by the way, profiling is a verb.
