Cocktail Popsicle: Beer Floats

September 30, 2011 By Naomi Robinson | Bakers Royale 8 Comments

Football season is here and with that I’m sending you guys along with this simple Beer Float Popsicle for your Sunday game. That’s chocolate beer and vanilla ice cream on a stick. How rad is this?

Um, a lot rad! They are tasty and easy. Any beer will work, if it were up to me alone I would have used Guinness, but I was out voted. For you-your palate your choice! Mix and match the combination as you see fit.

I know the next one I’m going to try is framboise with coconut sorbet, or a lemon and lime tequila spritzer with mango sorbet in the center. See what I mean? The possibilities are limitless.

I’m keeping this short since I need to get packing for my Philadelphia food fest with the Endless Simmer crew. We are going to be eating and drinking our way through Philadelphia. It’s going to be glut fest of massive proportion!

Ah, the joys of stumbling. I’m so glad I found your site. This is a fantastic dessert for football Sunday when the guys (and gals) are over to watch the Steelers or Bears. I don’t think we’ll be going your Guinness way, but we will be doing beer float popsicles. Many thanks for sharing.
