Chocolate Raspberry Ooey Gooey Bars

Are you as excited as I am about these bars? Okay, my excitement about them might be a notch above yours, but with good reason. These creamy, dreamy bars are straight out of my cookbook that releases in a matter of weeks. EEP! September 5th to be exact, so can we talk about some details?

    Hi Naomi!! Your chocolate raspberry bars look divine! I love that creamy custardy (I think its custard) layer on top. I am so excited for your cookbook! All of the recipes on your blog look amazing, so I can just imagine how beautiful your book will be! 🙂

    Congratulations on your cookbook! Don’t mind me, I’m just the weird girl in the corner whispering “my precious” while rubbing the ooey-gooeyness all over my face. Those look amazing.

    This recipe doesn’t work. The chocolate crust bakes thought and they look nothing like the photo!!!! Fail!!!

    This is the worst recipe ever. I agree with Chris, I’ve tried this recipe 3 times. Every single time, the crust bakes through, the raspberries sink and it looks a mess. This is a total fail.

    I should have listened to Chris and Terri. I even thought I could make tweaks so the raspberries wouldn’t fall but this is worst recipe ever! The raspberries sink so the layers don’t evenly bake and you get a hideous bumpy, raw, burnt top mess. I had my doubts about this recipe but I really should have listened to the others. What a waste of ingredients.
