There is something so comforting in over-the-top treats like this for me. I think I love the obscenity of them. Look at those bars – they could be classified as Type 2 inducing food. Yet, I made it and other various forms of this type of dessert bars (see here, here and here) while smiling the whole time.
Yes, of course they are rich, decadent and unapologetically calorie-laden, so eat in small bites.
