Chocolate Covered Cherries

June 8, 2010 By Naomi Robinson | Bakers Royale 7 Comments

Chocolate Covered Cherries ~ The quintessential summer fruit. Okay, my quintessential, nothing reminds me of summer more than cherries.

Chocolate Covered Cherries

These chocolate covered cherries are embarrassingly easy. I almost didn’t post them, but I had to since my lil guy is just getting into food and helped me dip and drizzle them.  Aside from that, he was so excited to see his work on a computer screen.

No long post, no recipe to follow just dip, drizzle and enjoy.

A few notes:
1. Make sure your cherries are room temperature and dry before dipping.
2. Stay close to the microwave to easily reheat your chocolate as needed.
3. Stir your chocolate gently to avoid air bubbles.
4. The cute bicycle napkin is from Target and the tiny dish is from Sur la Table.

These look great! I think it’s nice when blogs post simple recipes. Especially in the summer. When it’s 85 degrees it’s good to have sweet treats on hand that don’t require the oven.

Also – where did you get the bike napkin? It’s so cute!

Darn, I just passed a roadside sign that said “cherries for sale” and I didn’t stop. Now you’ve given me a very good reason to go back!
